The NIHR School for Public Health Research was awarded additional funding as part of its capacity building and development programme. The funding is supporting individuals to prepare strong applications for an NIHR Career Development funding award. The pre-application support fund has been set up to complement the existing NIHR pre-application support fund which aims to provide extra support to those who may benefit from extra guidance, thereby improving their chances of success in applying to the NIHR Career Development scheme.
