Research Interests

As a medical student interested in psychiatry and public health, Tharuka has a particular interest in mental health disparities, exploring social determinants of mental well-being, and developing effective interventions. Through research with NIHR SPHR, Tharuka is keen on exploring the intersection of mental health with broader public health issues and contributing to evidence-based strategies for promoting well-being.
