Notify us when your paper is accepted

You must notify us when your paper is accepted. It is also very helpful if you can let us know its progress before this. Please email sphr.comms@ncl.ac.uk attaching a copy of the paper if possible. This is so we can:

• notify NIHR comms and the DHSC
• check the funding statement and disclaimer
• prepare any communications to promote your paper (we will discuss this with you to find the right approach)

If we don’t find out about a publication until after it has published or too late, we lose the timeliness of any comms produced and it’s a missed opportunity to promote your work.

“Research is of no use unless it gets to the people to need to use it”
