We work to meet the needs of policymakers, practitioners and the public by researching what works practically to improve population health and reduce health inequalities.
We have done this by creating a collaborative environment in which excellence in research and the exchanging of ideas can thrive. Central to this is the need to build close and sustained relationships with policy and practice partners at all levels and in all aspects of our work. This ensures that our research is clearly focused on national and local priorities and that our work is relevant and useful to public health professionals.
