Workshop: What does research say about self-harm, suicide, and learning disability?

As part of a Three NIHR Research Schools’ Mental Health Programme-funded scoping study on suicide and self-harm in people with learning disabilities, they are hosting a 2.5-hour workshop in September (led by Sarah Marsden and Magdalena Mikulak) where they will share the initial findings from their scoping review of the literature with a range of stakeholders, from researchers and academics, through healthcare professionals and policymakers, to people with learning disabilities and their family members and carers. The feedback received during this workshop will influence the project’s future direction.
