The NIHR School for Public Health Research (SPHR) aims to create welcoming and equitable environments, structures and processes, that celebrate diversity, and value, respect and recognise contributions from all. To ensure that SPHR’s new Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) strategy is fully embedded across the School, we are delighted to launch a pilot programme to provide small grants funding in support of collaborative EDI projects across the membership.
There will be a funding pot of £40,000 to support projects in the first instance. The EDI Committee will assess the success of this initial pilot and participant feedback, with a view to proposing further rounds in the future.
The purpose of this funding scheme is to offer existing SPHR members flexible funding to support specific EDI projects or initiatives that promote inclusive practices across SPHR in line with the EDI Strategy.
