The SPHR Network for the use of Natural Experiments in Public Health is hosting this free seminar about the first ever evaluation of mental health and social outcomes of selective licensing schemes.
Matt Egan and Jakob Petersen (LSHTM) will present their natural experiment evaluation of the primary impact of selective Licensing, an area-based intervention in the private rented housing market, on individual self-reported anxiety and neighbourhood mental health and secondary impacts on antisocial behaviour, population turnover and self-reported well-being.
For background, their study was published in BMJ Open in 2022 (doi: 10.1136/bmjopen-2022-065747). Read related news story.
