We are delighted to host the NIHR School for Public Health Research (SPHR) Trainee welcome event and meet our new cohort of PhD students and fellows starting their journey with us in developing their career in public health research. The School aims to inspire and train the next generation of academics in public health research, and gives the opportunity to combine academic research with practice as a career pathway.
This event will include talks from members of the School and the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). There will be an opportunity to hear from alumni students about their PhD and fellowship experiences and career journeys. Throughout the event there will be opportunities for networking, speed mentoring and also time for looking ahead and reflections.
