Children, young people and families – research at Exeter

The University of Exeter has a developing international reputation in child and adolescent health. This includes expertise in schools and health, including large-scale randomised trials; social epidemiology of child mental health; violence prevention; and work on paediatric exercise. There is a strong research focus on the mental and physical health and wellbeing of children and young people 17 different research groups across our institution, including SPHERE (School for Public Health Environments Research at Exeter).
